Hey hey hey, it’s Humo Day! And guess what?! I released my latest Macrame Tutorial Video on YouTube last night! Finally, I found the motivation and focus to edit 2 hours of video, add language subtitles and push aside self- doubt again (the struggle is real).
But what does this mean to you? What’s in it for you? It means you can try a new technique and you can be the Belle of the Fall. It’s perfect to throw on over a crew neck tee OR y2k style tank top, add some jeans 👖 and voilà, get your pumpkin patch pics done.
I use 3mm untwisted cotton rope, but I recommend that you use a premium yarn or rope. I was basically busting my stash of terra cotta rope from last year to get rid of it. So, dont do what I did because if you make it with better materials:
1. It will look better.
2. You can charge more for it if you sell it.
3. It will last longer.
This item took me about 4 hours to make. You can get lost in all of the double half hitches. The bodice has nice form and a many a person can go braless with it. There is an option to kinda cover the belly if you need coverage there. But what is my favorite part of the piece? The Sleeves. 😍

So, get thee to the YouTube and let me know if you make one or if you’re gonna wait til festival season next year to do so. Part 2 drops on Friday.
