Luck of the Irish be with you dear Readers! It’s that time of the year as it were. March Madness has begun as we say in this region of the world, where basketball reigns supreme…for some. Not me, although I can’t say I never was that person. That’s all pre-craft-addiction though, and who wants to remember that?!

“Springing Ahead” brings a spring to my step, a twinkle in my eyes, and patterns galore. A rebirth if you will, or more aptly, an emerging from hibernation. Sheds old fur for new fur. I have a few projects in the works, mostly crochet, but I am chomping at the bit to begin a huge macrame project (shhh, super secret…) and a new festival outfit. Plus, I need to design a macrame top for those of us who need a little more coverage than my “beach ready” pieces of late.

Weirdly, I got v. excited about learning how to math my macrame projects out! I finally took the plunge, and punched fear in the face. My fear of doing a bunch of math so that I, and my YouTube subscribers, don’t waste a ton of rope. It will also allow me to write up some patterns in advance, and place them on the blog for all to use. And for me to create my paid course, which will include two exclusive patterns along with a booklet and how to videos. It will cover the basics of macrame, the maths, how I design, how to size up for clients and all of my most inner secrets. As if anyone wants to know. Believe me, the well is too deep. HA!

If you are still reading this, you are truly invested and have the attention-span of a pre-millenial. Anyhow, stay tuned for a new crochet pattern in a few days.
Knots and Bights,
Athena
